I was returning yesterday evening by car from Panormou to Elliniko.<\/p>\n

Although it was past 11 and the quarantine has already started, there were quite a few cars on the road.<\/p>\n

I turn right from L. Mesogeion towards Katehaki and the traffic light is red at the intersection with Kokkinopoulou.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I see a patrol car coming from the perpendicular road and stop abruptly after the traffic light, turn right, sound the alarm and stop in front of the crossing where there was a father (masked) with his two young children, age 6 at most .<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I admit I had a fleeting thought that they were stopping to see if he had any papers with him or if he had sent a message. Luckily this mini mind chatter lasted seconds. The two policemen quickly get out of the patrol car, go to the man, say something to him.<\/p>\n

Then they each take a children's bike in hand, the man takes his 2 children by the hands and they proceed quickly to the junction between the 2 directions of Katehaki. They wait for the traffic light to come on to pass security on the opposite side...<\/p>\n

Our traffic light turns green, I put a big smile on my face watching them chat as they wait to cross.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Yes there are people who they choose to help their fellow man.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes there are police officers<\/strong> who choose to stop, unbidden, to help a father at 11 p.m.<\/p>\n

Yes, everything exists in this world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The good and the good.<\/p>\n

The beautiful and the ugly.<\/p>\n

The just and the unjust.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The question is: which one do I choose to see?<\/strong><\/p>\n
