The most charismatic manager in the automotive industry is retiring. Dieter Zetsche says goodbye to the Daimler Group and Mercedes, as it is time for the new generation.<\/p>\n<div class=\"text_exposed_show\">\n<p>Also known as &quot;the moustache&quot;, always dressed sporty - in jeans and the classic sneakers -, Zetsche played an important role in the rebirth of Mercedes and in its &quot;launch&quot; in every field, from passenger cars to F1.<\/p>\n<p>But time is relentless. Having reached the age of 65, the head of the German group handed over the scepter to Ola K\u00e4lenius.<\/p>\n<p>Wanting to say goodbye to him, BMW, a great rival of Mercedes, created a wonderful video, showing <strong>the value of respect, recognition and the contribution of a great person and professional.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the video, a Zetsche bodyguard leaves Daimler&#039;s offices amid applause. He hands over his card and his personal driver takes him home for the last time. Dieter looks at the Mercedes S-Class driving away.
