Why are people still trolling her with internet scams for free tickets and princes from Nigeria?
Read an excellent article on this topic: http://luben.tv/stream/125417
This topic has many ramifications of course... but one of the main ones is that with the speed of the internet now, most people don't even bother to google (sic) the name of the competition along with the word scam to first check if it's real before they say... "thank you Easy Jet" - "thank you Aegean" - "thank you ……."
As it is well written in no. 8 of the article:
“Over 99.8% of people who fall victim to online scams know how a search engine works or how a keyboard works.
Although typing in the name of the contest you are about to enter followed by the word “scam” and doing a search with those terms will usually immediately reveal whether it is a scam or not, it is considered a pointless action by 99.8% of users of the global Internet.”
We live in particularly strange times... Where thinking before action is now an obstacle for many. I remember that advertisement that said "better to chew than to talk" and I think that today "better to google than to tick"...
At the time I am writing this post (and this was the occasion to find the article in question) the "Aegean" scam contest is running at a very fast pace among many of my friends... https://goo.gl/VxXTp3
and a few days ago with "Easy Jet"... https://goo.gl/HDx2Uj
